2009 What's to come!

This is Kazman's first post of my peon winery in Sonoma Valley, the town of Kenwood to be exact! I am going to be optimistic for this challenging year.  This is an introduction to the Kaz family .  We are especially affected by the down turn in the economy because our wine is not sold in store or distributed anywhere.  Our product is sold at the winery, direct to the kazoholics- in- the- making.  We are family owned and you will almost always see a family member behind the counter. We're happy to tell our story and we have fun doing it!  I am the CFO, Clearly From Outer space. Sandi my wife is the person holding all of us together.  My daughter Kristin is my assistant winemaker, AQM (Always Questioning Me) and mother of grandkid number 2, Collin.  My son Ryan, is our label and website designer or CIG ( Chief Idea Guy). Emily my daughter-in-law is our wine klub manager & MOG (Mother Of Grandkid) number 1 Madie!   My son-in-law, Nate is our KUS or Keeping Us Straight guy on the accounting side of things. Our wine club is very unique in that we allow our klubbers to pick the wine they want. Dude, your saying, isn't that a nightmare?  Damn straight it is, but we want to give the buying public what they want and not what we are trying to unload! This new year will challenge us at our winery and I will be blogging my ideas and would love to have comment if you think my ideas are good , bad or add your ideas to the challenge.
